Tracy Hagstrom Durant (HD) has been involved in educational theatre for 44 years, directing over 150 shows. Although retired from teaching, HD believes in the educational capacity of the arts, she is a member of the MSHSL One-Act Play Advisory, Board of Directors for the MN Educational Theatre Association and Communications and Theater Association of MN. She has also directed for several community theaters: The Barn Theater (Willmar), Buffalo Community Theater, Dassel-Cokato Community Theater and the Educational Theater Company (St. Cloud, MN). She has a BA in Theater, Speech, English and Secondary Education from Concordia College (Moorhead) and a MA in Arts in Education from St. Mary’s University (Winona). HD spends everyday appreciating the people who enrich her life, working outside, directing the Choir at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cokato and loving up her granddaughter, Elaina Mae!
Zack Carlson-Giving (CG) is the Vocal Music Director at Buffalo High School and has over ten years of experience music directing musicals at both the high school and community levels. Choirs under his direction have performed at state-level conferences, and he has presented professional development sessions at the state and regional level. CG is passionate about fostering student growth through meaningful, high-quality musical experiences and values collaboration, artistry, and inclusivity in every production. He is proud to support students as they build confidence, skills, and a lifelong love of music and theatre!
Gregory J Bestland has a B.A. in theatre and MACE in Christian Education. He has been actively involved in theatre for over 50 years, serving as a light designer, set builder, director and actor. He is currently involved at BCMS and BHS, as well as Buffalo Community Theatre He is a board member for BCT and loves being Grandpa to six grandkids!
Julia Carter began her theatre journey as a student in the Buffalo High School Theater Department. Now returning as choreographer, she's grateful to contribute to a program that helped shape her passion for the performing arts. Julia has trained in dance and musical theater throughout the midwest, in New York City, and at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Her most recent choreography credits include Buffalo Community Theater's Urinetown and Clue: The Musical.
